Why you should not trade in SG today and tomorrow?

Fed decided not to hike rates and will wait for a clearer and stronger economical data. As a result, DJ and SNP rallied a little. Expecting asia markets to follow too to a limited extent.

Not to forget, 1st may is a holiday, so STI is not open on 2nd May, thus STI should be facing profit taking this coming friday.

SP: Money Talk: China Star Food Group (CFSG SP): More Than Just A Tasty Treat

Sweet Potato Peanut

Personally i do not like to invest in such shares, unless I know the management team in the company. Probably it will be good for trading and that's it, because some companies are selling a story to cash out in the stock market. Thus not worth to invest in.

However, i am not referring to this company, just general perspective. As you are my client, there is a need to inform and share my take on such companies..

End day, so long you make money, everything goes.

Money Talk: Q&M Dental Group Singapore (QNM SP): Steady Growth In Home Market While Gaining Ground In China

i heard from my client that QnM dentists are able to purchase shares internally at S$0.700.

If that is true, that explains the fall previously and the current capped price.

Should you have information, feel free to share and discuss with me.

SGstocksandshares

Thank you all for your support.

The purpose of this website is to serve as a portal of information, striving to build and create a pool of interested traders and investors to come together to discuss and share information.

On top of that, it serves as a convenient page for me to access the information and prices that i have shared previously, effectively labeling and categorizing into groups and

I received some of the emails from my site visitors, who agree and disagree some of the trading calls which i have posted. Once again, i would like to remind that I have to put my clients first. So pardon me if there is a delay in the blog posting on SGstocksandshares. While there is no free lunch in this world, I do my best to share trading calls and hope that we all make money together. Thus this site started 3 years ago serving this purpose.

Moving forward, I would like to change and tweak the posts that I have been sharing. Perhaps it will be all trading calls. Or maybe purely investment calls. I have not made up my mind and would like to hear from you guys.

Look out for the voting poll on the right hand corner and let me know what you all prefer.

Let's make some money together. :)

Sinograndness, Q&M dental Japfa

short term trades to note:

Sinograndness, Q&M dental Japfa.

The current trading trend seems to be on bluechips. especially banking shares which has rose quite a far bit. Which my guess is the rally will shift to penny and mid cap counters after the blue chip rally.

However, indexes are at near highs. You might prefer to keep your positions light. When in doubt, just stay out. my 2 cents

MAS Surprises With A Neutral SGD NEER Slope Prescription

Singapore GDP grew 1.8% in Q1, slightly better than expected,

"That was slightly better than consensus expectations; a Reuters poll of economists had predicted a 1.7 per cent annual rise.

Growth was flat from the previous quarter on a seasonally-adjusted annualized basis.

The city-state's manufacturing sector was the principal culprit behind the tepid performance. The sector, which accounted for nearly 20 per cent of 2015 GDP, contracted by 2 per cent, marking a year of consecutive quarterly declines.

"The sector was primarily weighed down by a decline in the output of the transport engineering, precision engineering and electronics clusters," the government said in a release."

Oil and SIIC

Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, refused to go along with the plan — which would have capped production at January levels for the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries as well as non-OPEC producers such as Russia.  News agency reports said that in talks that lasted ten hours longer than scheduled, the kingdom would not limit its own output if Iran did not do the same. But Iran, which did not even attend the Doha meeting, has said it is determined to crank up production now that a deal to limit its nuclear program has resulted in a lifting of international economic sanctions.

China Q1 GDP at 10am (GMT+8)

The current rally in STI is due to MAS latest policy on SGD, setting the rate of appreciation of the Singapore dollar's nominal effective exchange rate (NEER) policy band at zero percent, marking a shift from its previous policy stance of a "modest and gradual" appreciation of the local dollar.

I understand from my friends who contacted me who asked if it meant that SGD is going to depreciate. This is not the case. SGD is just not appreciating as fast as before so as to help the weak economy.

As a result, STI rallied and currently standing at 2911.

short term trades to note: United Engineers, Cityneon, OKH global.

Gold and Singapore Daily: Tuesday, April 12, 2016 [Sector Update: Regional Aviation]

Morning,

I was looking at Gold charts and realized that it has broken out of the channel.

At the same time, Obama and Yellen are meeting to discuss about the state of the labor market, inequality and potential risks to the economy, both in the U.S. and globally. Given that more volatility coming up in the market due to rate hikes and US elections, my take is that gold may continue to appreciate.

Alternatively, CPF money can be invested into GLD too. Please ensure that you have your CPFIS account ready before doing executing the trade
